No WiFi or Cell Signal? That's ok.
The app's tour can work without WiFi or cellular signal, so it doesn't matter if your site is in a remote spot or surrounded by stone/marble masonry. If you would like WiFi connectivity or better cell reception, we'll help you set up a hotspot or signal booster in a central area (such as the lobby or ticket counter).
Indoor Museums, Historic Houses, and Visitor Spaces:
If you would like to guide your visitors on a specific path through your site, the app's tour will have easy-to-follow buttons like "Play", "Pause", "Next", and "Back".
If you would like your visitors to create their own path, the app works with iBeacons to recognize the visitor's location and automatically jump to the right tour stop.
Visitors can also get navigation help from a "Map" button that displays the site's floor plan with a "You Are Here" icon. Alternatively, visitors can use the "List" button to see a list of all of the tour stops and jump from one stop to another.
Outdoor Walking, Bus, or Driving Tours:
The app works with GPS for outdoor tours. Every smartphone comes equipped with satellite tracking, independent of WiFi or cellular reception. The app uses this GPS technology to identify when the visitor is approaching a tour stop in order to automatically jump to the right spot on the app.
A "Map" button shows visitors a Google Maps facsimile with "pins" at the various tour stops and their own location as a moving blue dot. Alternatively, visitors can use the "List" button to see a list of all of the tour stops and jump from one stop to another.
